Everyday Voices of Diaper Need

The Pulpit Rock
Each day we receive calls and emails from moms, dads, grandparents, and others, who are struggling to provide one of the most basic needs for their baby...a simple clean diaper. We listen with compassion, and make every effort to help connect them to a member diaper bank and/or other safety net programs in their local community. Below are a few of those individuals, in their own words.

I am a grandmother and care for two of my grandbabies. I have a 5-month-old baby that I struggle with buying diapers for. All of my money goes to help on lights, gas, rent, and phone. I have no other income to help. I am doing my best to keep these kids with me. I need help with diapers for the 5-month-old girl. If you can provide any kind of help it would be greatly appreciated.

Voices of Community Diaper Bankers

The Pulpit Rock
The National Diaper Bank Network (NDBN) is comprised of more than 230 local diaper banks operating in 42 states and the District of Columbia. Through the network, NDBN annually distributes 20 million diapers to community diaper banks. With clean diapers, the network improves the lives of 1.2 million infants and toddlersevery year.Below are a few of those individuals, in their own words.

[Our state] desperately needs help for its children. The diaper bank is building and enlarging...what we have accomplished has been dependent on the help we have received from NDBN...I can promise you that [the diaper bank] will be distributing more than a million diapers before the end of next year.
